CRAFTS by Taz

Hey there, Let me introduce myself.

My name is Daniel, but many call me Taz. I was born and raised in Albury/Wodonga and am glad to call it home.  Just your average bloke, with a large extended family that means the world to him. A strong and stern, but loving father, with close friends far and wide.

Coming from a family that has quite a number of members that have been talented with their hands, be it with wood, metal, pottery or the musical arts, I guess one could say it's in my blood. I've always loved working with wood, having chosen it all through high school, and have been told I have an eye for it. With traits of a pefectionist, am quite often told I am too hard on myself. So with the last few items really impressing family and friends, I decided to try my hand at taking orders outsides this comfort circle.

So here it is. CRAFTS by Taz. Creating Room Additions From The Shed. Because I believe that hand made items are more meaningful. Especially when you can request for custom pieces or specific details that you just can't get from from factorie and show room floors. Lets face it, we all desire quality but are in a world that is a constant reminder that we are living in a throw away society.

I believe in quality. The kind that lets you assemble something time and time again, without it falling to bits. Take for example my King size, four poster bed. I made that over 14 years ago. Have pulled it apart and moved it, and reassembled it countless times without a worry.

I believe in practicality. The kind that lets you be able to disassemble something for easy moving or storage. Take for example my Triple bunk design. It can be disassembled and be transported with ease.

So there you have it. In summary I love what I do, and am confident in my work. So if you'd love something that will not only be pleasing to the eye, but of quality so it can continue to be for years to come, I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to contact me if you are intrested in something you have seen on here, or your own ideas. I'd love to have opportunity to supply you with your very own piece from The Shed.

Thank you.
